The Wellington Incubator / Innovation Network (WIN) is an association of local business incubators and innovation interests in the Wellington region.
The WIN vision is to position Wellington as the most effective business Incubation centre in New Zealand and to foster a culture of entrepreneurial opportunity. The concept is to group incubators, tertiary institutions and business clusters together in a manner that will maximize economic growth for the region and the nation.
Every successful business starts with just one person and one idea. However, people and ideas do not guarantee success – research shows that only 20% of new businesses will succeed.
WIN is part of a radical strategy involving central government, regional economic development agencies and private providers that can boost the success rate among new businesses to a staggering 87%.
